Ad Sketches

Here are a few sketches for the Vineyard Wine Market ad campaign.

The idea of the first three is to show the uniqueness of the wine experience and to poke a little fun at some unusual wine descriptors. People familiar with wine will find the concept humorous, while those less familiar with wine will find the seemingly unrelated imagery intriguing. I love this idea because it is so versatile. The are as many possibilities as there are suprising wine descriptions.

The concept of this last one is to show that wine gives reason to celebrate every day, not just special occasions. My only issue with this idea is how to make it work across multiple ads.

Reworking the Copy

I became so focused on getting the logistics of the piece itself to function with a sufficient degree of efficacy (folds, cuts, glue, perforations, etc.), that I had not allocated as much time to the informational layout on the inside. After giving it some thoughtful consideration and receiving insightful advice, here is what I have thus far:

Here is a photo of an actual wooden wine crate. This is what I am trying to emulate.

VWM Mailer Update

The mailer would be perforated along the inside of the "side boards" and would tear open revealing the bottles inside.

Inside panels.

A single bottle option.

Wine Club Mailer Sketches

I'm excited about the "wine crate" ideas. I am, however, having a difficult time making it work with the paper folds, cut-outs and such. I want it to feel and look like a special invitation.
